Foundation of Business Club Contern

17 companies based in Contern founded the Business Club Contern on 19 June 2018 in the presence of Contern's mayor, Ms Marion Zovilé-Braquet.

The new association has set itself the goal of representing the common interests of the companies operating in Contern. The Business Club aims to become the preferred interlocutor of community representatives and the government on specific issues relating to transport policy and energy supply, and to explore the potential for synergies between companies based in Contern.

After the founding general meeting, the board of directors is composed as follows:

Jacques Herz, Jean-Paul Neu, Laurent Planche, Thomas Wodrich, Patrick Meyer, Stéphane Herard, Members.

After the Extraordinary General Meeting, Mr. Robert Dennewald, President, stated: "I am pleased to be at the head of the new association to contribute to the success of the Contern-based companies. Our association will allow us to have a more efficient dialogue with the community representatives ".

Mayor Marion Zovié-Braquet has expressed her satisfaction:

"Contern has experienced spectacular economic development in recent years. I am delighted to join the newly formed Business Club in intensifying cooperation with companies, in the best interests of the community, residents and businesses. "

The Business Club has set itself the short-term goal of developing a corporate charter to promote smooth mobility in Contern. This is to support the efforts of the government to ensure the efficient connection of the Contern commercial estates within the framework of a new motorway connection.
